Background
Client is one of the largest physician-owned and physician-led acute care medical groups in the United States. The client was looking for Cloud migration experts who could access the existing issues, propose and implement the end-to-end cloud migration engagement.
Key Issue
• The client used different Cloud Providers for different LOBs : Different API’S, SDKs, Storage Interfaces.
• Predictive analysis was required to reduce resource cost barrier.
• Growing Infrastructure dependencies on large IT teams and manual scalability.
Solution
In this engagement, we worked at the Client location and implemented end-to-end cloud migration. Some of the major activities were –
1. Assessment of overall enterprise architecture.
2. Analyzed Source and destination systems.
3. Analyze complete database and code as lift and shift was not possible.
4. Utilized different Cloud migration assessment tools including third party tools like Click2cloud
5. Analyze security, data feeders, connectivity’s, code (procs, functions, directly exposed APIs etc.)
6. Creation of migration plan, assessment, automation and handling the complete migration with Alteon Health’s technology team throughout till the productionization stage.
